How to join the HackenAI IEO

In this guide we will explain four simple steps you need to take to join the HackenAI IEO on Oceanex.

Here are the four simple steps you have to do to join the HackenAI IEO:

Step 1: Sign up on OceanEx and perform KYC

Go to https://oceanex.pro and click on Sign Up.
Fill in your country, email address and set a password, confirm the Privacy Policy and click on Sign Up.
In the next step confirm that you are not a bot.
Now check your email and verify your email address by clicking on the button in your mail.
Login on https://oceanex.pro and go to Verification to perform KYC. Please note that your identity has to be verified before you can join the IEO.

Step 2: Make a deposit

Now you are fully verified it is time to transfer funds to OceanEx with which you can take part in the IEO. We recommended depositing BTC, ETH or VET, but OceanEx allows you to deposit a wide range of coins.

To take part in the IEO you will need VET, so if you deposit any other coin, you will first have to convert this coin to VET using the OceanEx exchange.

To deposit VET click on deposit or visit https://oceanex.pro/en/wallet/deposit
Select VET as the token you want to deposit.
You will be given an address to which you can send your VET. Funds will show up on OceanEx in 12 network confirmations, which takes around 2 minutes.

Step 3: Join OCE club or bind X-Node

OCE club membership or holding an X-Node is required to take part in the IEO.

If you are a VeChainThor X-Node holder you can bind your X-Node with your OceanEx account by going to https://oceanex.pro/en/account/bindnode

If you don’t have an X-Node don’t worry, joining the OCE club is really simple and takes just 2.000 OCE (valued around $1 at the time of writing).

Go to Exchange > OCE/VET (https://oceanex.pro/en/trades/ocevet) and buy at least 2.000 to join the OCE club.
Now visit the OCE Club page and it should display that you have a club membership

Step 4: Join the IEO

The Initial Exchange Offering for HAI will take place between April 13rd 21:00 and April 14th 21:00 (UTC+8).

You can join the IEO by going to to https://oceanex.pro/en/go/hai from that page you can enter the amount of VET you want to take part with in the IEO

On the same page you can clearly see your discount as well.

If the token sale is oversubscribed:

The project tokens received = (total token available for current session) x (your new token subscription amount) / (total new token subscription amount received in current session)

Investment cost = the project tokens received x (token price in VET) x ( 1 — any discount applied)
Refund = your total VET subscription amount — the investment cost

In any other cases, your token subscription amount will be fully distributed. You’ll be refunded the rest of VET if any discount applies to you after IEO.

Alternative Method: Buy HAI direct from HackenAI using USDT and BTC
