Dear Hacken and Worminator communities,
A month ago we decided to merge the two communities. The key idea was to issue a new token — WORM, to get which you would need to have a bundle of HAI & WRMNTOR tokens. According to our plan, the WRMNTOR community would buy HAI tokens while the HAI community would buy WRMNTOR tokens. The intention was to give a strong impulse to both tokens while giving birth to a new token that would be integrated into Hacken Foundation.
Unfortunately, the token sale scheme has not boosted the interest of both the Hacken and Worminator communities. The prescribed hard cap level has not been achieved.
After a series of discussions with community leaders as well as the Worminator team, we have decided to cancel the WORM TGE and return all collected funds.
All collected tokens (WRMNTOR and HAI) will be returned to the wallets from which they have been sent within 3 business days after the publication of this material.
We have also decided to increase the amount of HAI to be returned by 37,5% to compensate for the WRMNTOR price fluctuations that have taken place since the start of the 2st (HAI) round (11 August — 6 September).
Not being afraid of experiments is one of the elements of the Hacken DNA.
I am sure the crypto industry will see the growing number of revolutionary token swaps and mergers in the coming future. Perhaps, now is not the right time for such combinations.
I want to thank the Worminator team for their energy and work. Our cooperation during the PureFi sale was truly amazing and, without any doubt, we will continue working on the B2B side. Hopefully, we will be able to find a new attractive and functional form of token business combination in the future.
